Medical Expenses for my Daughter

This is not something I am comfortable doing.

Anyone who knows me, knows I have spent nearly a decade raising money for charities to help people with illnesses such as cancer, leukemia and lymphoma, parkinson's disease and liver disease.

Now...I am facing a catastrophic situation: my daughter is gravely ill, and must be hospitalized, for the second time in two years. And I cannot afford it.

She's had outpatient treatments and therapies; specialists; all kinds of doctors.

Some has been covered, BUT some treatments had to happen and were NOT covered and for a while, both she and I were without any insurance for a period of time, so I paid a lot of money out of pocket to keep her getting help.

And, despite my recent new job and insurance plan, her medical needs are not all covered by this plan either.

I have spent thousands on out of pocket expenses...I am out of savings.. out of credit... and out of ideas.

Someone else who has a daughter with this horrible disease suggested that I simply ask for funds... since I've fundraised for so many others... why not fundraise for my daughter this time...

So, despite my uncomfortability with doing this, I'm out of options, and she needs to go back to the higher level of treatment this week.

If you can help, even a little, any little bit...I would be eternally grateful.

I'm a single mom with another child whom I have been trying to put through college on a payment plan. And this child with this terrible illness whom I am trying to help save her life.

This is a deadly, deadly illness: and my insurance company isn't going to cover most of this despite the facts. 

Please, if you can help my daughter, send something?

I need to pay Seeds of Hope, Renfrew, the Center for Integrated Behavioural Health, St. Luke's Health Network, MARS, Malvern, some additional private outpatient out of network doctors and treatment centers, and the PCP at Lehigh Valley Health Network for my daughter Jessica Leibowitz. Money will be used for co payments, deductibles and non covered medical costs.

This is a life or death disease, and my daughter's life means the world to me.

I cannot begin to express how thankful I am for any support received.
