Cyclist Siddeeq Shabazz’s road to recovery
Donation protected
Nearly two years post-injury, but the marathon continues. In June of 2023, a random act of gun violence changed my life. A bullet struck me in my lower spine, leading to my T-10 spinal cord injury, leaving me paralyzed from the waist down.
It has been quite the journey normalizing not walking or cycling anymore. Constant physical therapy paired with at-home workouts have led to tremendous results in my current condition. But the cost of treatment, medical bills, and medical supplies has become overwhelming. You can help. No amount of support is too small.
Meeting this goal would go a long way towards clearing my current medical bill balances as well as soften the blow from the upcoming expenses.
