My name is Jeff, and my cousin Paul passed away several years ago. Family members were shocked and devastated by his death, not only because he was still young, but because of what he was able to accomplish when met with so much adversity. As tragic as it was that Paul passed away, the most unfortunate part is he left behind a son, Liam.

Liam is a great kid, full of energy, smart and super funny. He is an innocent child who didn't deserve to lose his Dad, but as we all know, this life throws us curveballs when we least expect it. Liam has a strong Mom, an Aunt and Uncle that care about him, and the best grandparents a kid could ask for. We all want the best for Liam, and I see a bright future ahead of him.

I am committing myself to raise money for Liam's college and/or trade school education. I will donate $50 per month, and have deposited an initial balance of $1,000 to kickstart this GoFundMe. When Liam graduates high school, this will be his money. If his life path doesn't require higher education, and he wants to start his own business, this money will be available for him to follow his dreams.

Paul wanted a better future for Liam, and I'd like to help fulfill that wish and make sure Liam has a good start. We are not a wealthy family, and all come from humble beginnings... but we work hard for what we have, and we care about each other. I want to make sure Liam and the next generation of our family knows that when met with the challenges in life, perseverance and bettering yourself is what matters.
