Forget me not appeal

8 years ago, my mother in law, Chris, started showing signs of confusion and distress. She was later sectioned before being diagnosed with onset dementia. She was eventually diagnosed with vascular dementia and very quickly went from the fun loving, lively person we all loved to a lost soul. She went from living at home to having to be put into a care home where she was bed ridden, unable to speak or feed herself. It was very hard for everyone she was close to, slowly watching the person she was just dissappear until she passed away. It still affects us to this day so I am taking part in a charity boxing event to raise awareness and a little donation for us and anyone else who has been affected in this way by this horrible disease.
Any donation is very much appreciated and I thank you in advance for your help and support.
