Hi Everyone, My name is Rosaughn "Ro." My family, which includes my mother Krystal and my two sons, KayVaughn & Dyllen, are devastated as we have all lost our childhood home that has been in the family for over 60 years due to the Eaton Canyon Fire. The whole neighborhood is gone, all our family memories are gone, and we will never be the same. While we are incredibly grateful to have made it out safely, the road ahead is daunting.
As a parent, one of my main concerns is my child, who is on the autism spectrum. The stability of a safe and familiar environment is vital to his well-being, and this sudden displacement has been especially hard for him. He has not only lost his home but also his sense of security, routines, and cherished belongings.
We are currently staying with friends, and starting over from scratch is overwhelming. I'm asking for your help to pay for temporary housing utilities, clothing, school supplies, personal belongings, household essentials like furniture, kitchenware, appliances, and therapeutic tools, and sensory-friendly items to help my child adjust.
Every donation, no matter how small, makes a difference. If you're unable to give, sharing this page with others would mean the world to us.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story. Your kindness and support give us hope as we work to rebuild our lives.
