On behalf of my brother George (Jorge) and my sister in law Marifer I share my niece Aubree Ramirez who is 3 is battling cancer again.
While we have continued to be optimistic for her, unfortunately her health has declined very fast, and we will need financial support for her and her family.  She was diagnosed with bilateral retinoblastoma (eye cancer to both eyes) at her young age of 7 months and fought it with Chemotherapy, however a few months later they detected a malignant brain tumor, she underwent various treatments not limited to chemotherapy and stem cell transplant, and we finally thought she had won her cancer battle for a second time, as a few months ago there was no findings of the tumor. On May 1st on her routine MRI they found her cancer returned for a third time, more aggressive, and it has spread all over her brain, when her latest scan in January was clear. Doctors explained that she needs radiation in hopes to slow the cancer down, and to give her a longer life even though they told us we have less than a year our family continues to hold onto hope and prayer. Due to having all treatment options for her and since she is a rare case of cancer doctors only gave us the option of radiation and pain medication.  While today was supposed to be an appointment with the radiation lead doctor she was admitted at UCSF yesterday due to constant complaints of headaches and the pain medication was not helping her. Today we got more terrible news, she now has fluid in her brain and needs emergency surgery, and now has a tumor in her spinal cord when just last week only cancer cells were detected in her scan. Our family is completely devastated.

 Aubree loves to play with her her brother-Aiden who is 5 whom also fought Retinoblastoma at the same time she did in her first cancer diagnosis, and when cousins and immediate family come to visit she loves having them over to play. She loves to watch the movie Frozen, and Trolls. The movie songs are always on repeat. She loves getting her nails polished, and showing them to mama and papa. Aubree is such a strong warrior and while she is fighting this cancer our family are fighting with her. 

While our family is still processing everything we also are very thankful for all the love, prayers, positive thoughts, and support for her and our family through this journey. We ask you to please continue to pray and share this gofundme account with family, friends, and the community due to the unexpected financial burden this will cause for the my brother George (Jorge) and Marifer as she is a stay at home mom and George is the sole provider, and now will be unable to work to support Aubree in this journey again.
