Hi,
My name is Faithe Caldwell, Mother of Asiyah Caldwell. I'm attempting to raise money to assist with her burial, memorial and medical bills. My daughter Asiyah had a bright future ahead of her that was taken suddenly at the hands of another driver.
On November 7, 2019, I didn't know that would be the last time I would be able to tell her "have a good day at school; " yell at her for taking too long to get dressed, or just see her. On November 7, 2019 life as I knew it tragically changed.
November 7 , 2019 I was sitting in my living room , with my blinds open waiting on her to get off the bus. Asiyahs bus came , but she wasn't on it. I spent the entire day reaching out to her friends via phone, text and social media looking for my daughter and received no response. It wasn't until November 8, 2019 , I receive the call from the hwy patrol. During our phone call he said , Asiyah was in an accident and I needed to come to the hospital. When I arrived I was greeted by doctors, the state trooper and a priest. I was not escorted to a room (where I thought she would be). Instead, I was taken to a private room which they called VIP ( some name for a room where you would confirm the passing of your child) and was told there's a body that I need to identify. At that moment I realized that phone call I received was a mothers worse call.
Asiyah was loved by a lot of people. To me she was and will forever be my world. While I continue to seek JusticeForAsiyah my life will never be the same. Her future will never be fulfilled. The only thing I have left are her memories. The air that I breathe will never be the same. Asiyah leaves behind 4 siblings who will never forget her and through them she will live on. To us this world is , ForeverAsiyahsWorld.
