On October 23rd, everything changed for Tomiquia and her wife Guthrie. While on a morning stroll with their sweet senior dog, Pepper, two unleashed Cane Corsos jumped multiple fences and attacked their loving pet. At one point, both dogs took hold of Pepper — tugging and pulling at the 12-pound dog. Tomiquia and several bystanders watched in horror as this tragedy unfolded. The owner of the Cane Corsos retrieved his dogs and fled the scene without taking any responsibility for the tragedy that just occurred.

While Pepper underwent two emergency medical procedures and a blood transfusion, her injuries were too extensive. Pepper died the following morning. Beyond grieving the loss and having to process the horrific manner in which Pepper died, Tomiquia and Guthrie are now facing a mountain of medical bills.

We are reaching out to our animal-loving community and asking you to please donate to the Forever Pepper GoFundMe to help cover emergency veterinary bills and associated costs, as well as support the establishment of the Forever Pepper Foundation.
