On August 20th, 2025 — just one day before he would have turned five months old — our sweet baby Ryder McClosky passed away suddenly in his sleep. This unimaginable tragedy has left our entire family shattered.
Ryder was the precious son of Alyssa Rogers and Jakob McClosky, and the beloved baby brother to 3-year-old Grayson, who is still too young to understand why his little brother isn’t coming home.
Ryder was full of light. He had the softest smile, the gentlest spirit, and a way of calming everyone around him. Though his time here was far too short, the love he gave — and the love he received — will stay with us forever.
This loss was sudden, unexpected, and has left Alyssa and Jakob in unimaginable pain. In addition to the emotional devastation, they are now faced with the overwhelming burden of funeral and memorial expenses — something no parent should ever have to plan for their infant child.
