It’s hard to even find the words to describe what our family has lost. My uncle was taken far too soon, and the hole he’s left behind feels impossible to fill. He was only 22, but in those years he lived with more love, loyalty, and laughter than many do in a lifetime.

He was the kind of person who instantly made people feel at home. He had a way of walking into a room and lighting it up, not because he tried, but because that’s just who he was. His laugh was contagious, his smile was genuine, and his presence made you feel like everything was a little lighter, even on the hardest days.

What stood out most about him was his heart. He was always there for his friends and family, no questions asked. If someone needed help, he was the first to show up. If someone was down, he was the one who’d find a way to make them laugh. He carried so much love inside of him, and he gave it away freely. That’s just who he was selfless, loyal, and so full of life.

Our family is devastated by his sudden passing. His parents and siblings are carrying a pain that no one should ever have to carry. They should be able to hold on to each other, to grieve, and to honor his life without the added stress of figuring out arrangements. That’s why I’ve created this fundraiser, not because it’s easy to ask, but because I want to take that weight off of them.

More than anything, this is about honoring the beautiful soul my uncle was and making sure his goodbye reflects the love he gave so generously while he was here.
