Hi everyone,

We are the children of Richard Mendes, and with heavy hearts we’re reaching out to share that our amazing dad has passed away. Anyone who knew our father knows he was one of the kindest, most genuine souls; a man who always put others before himself and loved his family deeply.

Our dad brought light, laughter, and love everywhere he went. His loss has left a huge hole in our hearts, and while we’re grieving, we also want to make sure we honor him in the way he deserves.

We’ve started this GoFundMe to help cover the costs of his celebration of life and to help support our mom, who has always worked so hard to keep our family strong. We know that our dad would never want her to feel alone or burdened during this difficult time.

Any contribution, no matter the size, will go directly toward honoring our father’s memory and helping ease the weight on our mom as she navigates life without him.
