Hello, my partner's name is Oscar, and I am putting together this fundraiser for his sister who just suffered a devasting loss. On June 14, 2023, their beloved, beautiful Maria Jose, age 12, died suddenly. The hospital is saying the cause is from diaphragmatic hernia coupled with dextrocardia. To say the family is devasted is an understatement and to be honest, they have no idea I am doing this, but I want to try to help them and relieve some of the financial burden this tragic event has caused. My partner was on the phone with Maria Jose on June 9 and 11 for almost 2 hours helping her with her math equations. She worshipped her Uncle (Tio) Oscar and to see someone you care about in so much pain you feel like you need to try and do anything you can to help. His sister and husband are very hardworking people, but the reality is, paying for the funeral and costs associated with it, coupled with the fact his sister who is a nurse has not been back to work and also has a 8 month old Emmanuel at home to care for, has only added more financial stress to their situation. We are all aunts, unlces, brothers, sisters, mothers and fathers and cannot fathom losing someone so close to us, let alone a 12 year old child, who prior to this happening was seemingly in great health. If you can find in your heart to help this family, any amount of donation would be greatly appreciated. My plan is to collect the money and get a card and put everyone's name who donated and present it to Oscar and his family.
