We are heartbroken to share the devastating news of the sudden passing of Arieh Amar, at just 22 years old. There are no words that can truly capture the depth of this loss. Arieh was a young man with a soul far beyond his years.
Arieh had a unique presence. He loved cars, travelling, and discovering new experiences, but what made him unforgettable was not what he did it was who he was. People remember Arieh for his pure heart, loyalty, kindness, humour, patience and the quiet strength he carried within him. He never spoke Lashon Hara. In a world where it is so easy to judge, Arieh chose kindness. That was his nature. That was his character. That was his gift.
He was a cherished son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend. Arieh cared deeply for his family and brought immense joy to everyone around him, especially to his Saba, whom he lovingly looked after from the goodness of his heart. His family adored him beyond words, and his sudden passing has left a void that can never be replaced. The shock of losing him so unexpectedly has shaken all who knew and loved him.
In honour of Arieh’s memory, we are coming together to raise funds for a Sefer Torah to be written and dedicated in his name. A Torah is eternal, as is the light and goodness inside Arieh. It feels only right that something so holy and timeless should stand as a legacy to someone who had deep spirituality and brought so much love and life into the world.
This Sefer Torah will allow Arieh’s name and neshama to continue elevating the world long after his short time on earth. Every letter written, every pasuk read, every mitzvah performed from this Torah will be a merit for his soul in Gan Eden and a way for all of us to ensure that his impact never fades.
No contribution is too small. Whether you give, share, or simply keep Arieh’s family in your prayers, your support means more than words can express.
May the memory of Arieh Ben Sherlee & Ronen
be a blessing
be a light
and be a source of strength for all who loved him.
Thank you for standing with the family during this unimaginable time. May Hashem comfort them amongst all mourners of Zion and Jerusalem, and may Arieh’s neshama have the highest aliyah.
