Hi, my name is Kelly and I would like to provide Mouse with a loving and safe forever home.

I met Mouse a few weeks ago in Kalkan. He is a stray dog and life is very challenging for him. He has to navigate the dangers of being on the street, including traffic, disease and competing with other street dogs for food.

There is an amazing charity in Kalkan called KAPSA, they aid in the neutering of all new stray cats and dogs in the local area and aim to provide medical care if the street animals become unwell. Obviously, they have limited resources and once neutered the dogs are returned to the streets.

Mouse has only been neutered in the last 5 weeks, suggesting he is new to living on the street.

Additionally he is very small and timid, making him more vulnerable, recently having been attacked by a larger dog.

I was not intending to add to our ever-growing household, but it makes me heartsore to leave Mouse on the streets. With two doggys at home already ,we hope to give Mouse all the love and attention he deserves!

KAPSA will kindly assist in an advisory role in helping me to bring Mouse over from Turkey. The immediate cost is a £500 vet bill to vaccinate him against diseases such as Rabies, Lyme Disease, etc. It is approximately £35-£56 a week for him to be fostered for 4 months until he is safe to travel to England. Transport to England is between £900-£1200. Unfortunately we cannot start the process of taking Mouse off the streets until we have adequate funds as it would be destroying for all parties involved to have to return him to the streets. Any excess funds raised will be donated to KAPSA to help other street animals.

Myself and my family will appreciate any small gesture to assist us in bringing Mouse into our home/dog hotel!
