Our family is facing the unimaginable loss of my nephew, Jayden, an amazing 13-year-old whose life ended far too soon.

Jayden was full of personality and had a way of making people laugh even during difficult moments. He made people feel heard, understood, and like what they had to say mattered. He was also honest and straightforward—Jayden never sugar-coated anything, and that was one of the many things people loved about him.

He loved dropped Chevy trucks, football, and cheering for the Houston Texans. More recently, Jayden had grown closer to God, and his faith had become an important part of his life. Although his time with us was far too short, the love, laughter, and memories he gave us will remain forever.

No parent should ever have to endure the pain of losing a child. I am creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my sister and our family to help with funeral and memorial expenses while they grieve this devastating loss and prepare to lay Jayden to rest.
