Forest Walton Funeral Expenses
Donation protected
Hello, as many of you know Forest was a friend to many people, and if he wasn't your friend he was your family. Forest made everyone re think there attitude with his constant positive attitude even with his crippling disease. Forest was aware his life would be much shorter than average and he found a way to pack more in than most of us do in our lives. Forest was a man whos love for others interests were unmatched and that's what made him the best friend you could ever ask for. Many of you met him during the Wheels For Forest 5K many years ago. Forest lived in North Carolina for a majority of his life and shared his love for gaming, music and family with any and everyone who he was near. Unfortunately his father as most people knew as "Dean" but to a lucky group knew him as "Uncle Dean" who was his and his mothers main provider passed away not to long ago in a tragic car accident, the pain the family felt was un imaginable and even still through all of it Forests smile never dwindled. He kept a positive outlook on life, he continued on strong as ever. Forests faith in the lord and strong family roots made him the man he was, a fun loving, caring person that you cant help but call family, Unfortunately, early in the morning of Sept 16 2021 Forest decided it was his time to go see his family in the sky, he passed away peacefully and is now back with Dean and is able to walk and be free and that's something we should be celebrating.
Unfortunately funeral expenses are more then the family can afford after Uncle Deans passing not to long ago. we are accepting any and all donations to help find a place for forests eternal rest. We appreciate any help provided
I remember one night after leaving a movie with Forest I asked him "How do you always stay positive and happy even with your struggles?" His reply was "Have you ever heard the song "Simple Man?" ... the line in that song that says "Troubles will come and they will pass" I take that to heart because anything that gets me down just makes me remember that in the end our troubles will be solved either by family or by the Lord or both"
To sum up Forests legacy is hard task being that he contributed so much to everyone, but forest showed us its possible to keep a smile in the hardest times and he showed its easier to smile then it is to frown. We all have so much to be grateful for and we let the smallest things bring us down, the best way to remember forest is to do what he did no matter what the situation may have been and that's smile and stay positive.
