Forest View Outside Breakfast and Lunch

Hi, I am Liz Van Voorhees, a parent of a rising 4th grader at Forest View. I am raising money to buy tents and other supplies necessary to make it possible for students to eat breakfast and lunches outside this school year, consistent with the science (https://abcsciencecollaborative.org/abc-science-collaborative-on-school-lunch/) that suggests that eating school lunches outside is the best way to prevent the spread of COVID-19. This takes on particuarly urgency in the context of the highly transmissable Delta variant of COVID-19. Lessons learned from other DPS schools that have returned to school and rapidly had clusters of students with COVID suggests we need to act now to protect our kids.
