FORD TOUGH but Jim & Christy need our help

Jim and Christy Ford and their four children are always there to lend a helping hand to those in need.  Now, they need our help!  Their family had no idea that the past few months would bring about some serious health challenges for Jim and Christy that would leave them with  not only medical bills but no income for the next four to five months.  Already dealing with a diagnosis of Increased Intracranial Hypertension and its treatment, Christy had to undergo neck surgery in Dec. 2019 to fuse some vertebrae.  The recovery process is long with many restrictions but with the help of her family she has done well so far.  Then two weeks ago their family was dealt another blow.  Jim was diagnosed with tongue cancer with possible lymph node involvement.  He is awaiting surgery sometime in the next six weeks to remove 1/4 of his tongue and likely several lymph nodes in his neck.  This will be no easy road as it will also require 6 weeks of radiation and several weeks of a tracheostomy.  Unfortunately, Jim was laid off from his job as the provider for the family in early January and has been told that it will be at least three months after the surgery until he can work again.  Jim and Christy are fighters and they have a very positive outlook on getting through all this but as you can imagine, the stress of how to provide for the family over the next 4-5 months is looming.  Thai is where their friends and family have an opportunity to bless them.  We are starting this GoFundMe page to help lighten the financial burden for them the next few months so they can both focus on their journey to recovery.  Please help us shower then with love and support.  No donation is too small.  I know their family will be forever grateful for the outpouring of support.
