We are trying to save the house from forclosure; we already have $1500 but we need to raise another $1500 more by March 1st, 2017 to save the house.
Last year was a rough year for the Germano family, I lost my job at 61 years old. It was tough to find work at this age but I am back to work now. During my unemployment our house payments fell a little behind. However, we have tried a lot of programs to no avail to help us but we have not qualified for one bureaucratic reason or another for those programs.
We have found one program so far that requires two $1500 payments that will help us. It is called the rescue fund, it is a local state program through SNAP offices here in Spokane, WA. We have started the process and qualified and now they are just waiting on the two payments. We do have $1500 but we are short for the second $1500 payment which needs to be paid to SNAP.
It would mean the world to me and my family to be able to save our house espicially for our four grandchildren and three adult children; that have also been going through some rough times themselves. I would be eternally grateful if my friends, family and even strangers of the community could help us out. Our house is really the cornerstone of the Germano family.
