Hi!

My name is Jessamine-Bliss Bell and I am the writer, director and lead actor of the short film Forces Mineures.

This is my 6th short film project, it is, like all my previous work, based on a true story. It's a psychological dramedy about a second date that goes wrong very fast. It's a film about female intuition, and the societal barriers that have taught us not to trust it.

Our protagonist goes on a journey of unlearning, torn between past and present, and must escape the limitations of her own mind. It's a film about hope, and ultimately, about strength and self love.

Not to mention, the film's music is by the incredible Chloe Caillet, this marks our 2nd project together.

I have self funded all of my film projects until now. I earn a living as a voice actor, I think it's important to be transparent about these things. The budget I provided for this one currently stands at 8K GBP. However, the film is not finished, and I am out of funds!!

I need your help, to get this beautiful film through post. The money will go to the colour grade and sound design, as well as taking it through the festival circuit.

I think this is a gorgeous project that will make people feel seen and heard. Please help me get it out there!!
