I tore the main tendon in my right elbow while I was doing deliveries for a well-known delivery service. Since I am not an actual "employee" and just "sub-contractor," I don't get any kind of workers' compensation or any kind of medical paid leave! I have had the surgery the "fix" the tendon and by "fix" I mean the surgeon took the tendon and drilled a hole in my bone, stuck the tendon in the hole he drilled, put some kind of "cap" over it and now just waiting for the bone to grow back and make it solid.

In the meantime, I have been told that I will not be cleared to go back to work for the next 4-6 months, and as you can imagine, NOBODY'S BILLS care about your injuries! With that said, I am literally on the brink of losing everything, including the apartment my family and I are currently in. I am not the kind of person to ask others for financial help. However, desperate times!
