Hi, my name is Ainhoa. I live on the North Shore of Oʻahu, Hawaii, and I am raising funds for myself after losing my vehicle in the recent Kona Low storm.

We were forced to evacuate at 3am when the water started rising rapidly. I had to go out into chest-deep water in the dark to rescue my two dogs on my own. The current was strong, and at one point I almost lost one of them. Thankfully, I managed to get us all to safety.

My car was completely flooded during the storm and is now a total loss. Unfortunately, my insurance does not cover the damage, leaving me without transportation.

I rely on my car daily, and this situation has made it very difficult to move forward. The funds raised will be used specifically to purchase a reliable vehicle for work and to cover immediate transportation needs while I secure a replacement.
