Em 11 de julho de 2019, nossa querida amiga, mamãe, esposa, filha, Brunna Lima-Gomes, foi internada no hospital para receber uma transfusão de sangue. Logo após alguns testes, os médicos descobriram que os níveis renais estavam aumentando rapidamente. E os médicos decidiram que ela precisava começar a Hemodiálise de emergência. Em 12 de julho de 2019, Brunna, fez uma cirurgia para colocar uma “porta” em seu pescoço / peito para fazer diálise. Com tudo isso acontecendo, Brunna está grávida de 24 semanas e ainda no hospital recebendo tratamento e acompanhamento do bebê. Ela atualmente faz diálise 6 dias por semana durante 4 horas por dia.
O bebê está indo bem e crescendo perfeitamente. A Mamãe / Brunna está lutando por sua vida e fazendo o melhor para ficar bem para o bebê e para ela mesma. Ela terá que permanecer no hospital até o momento certo para retirar o bebê e há uma chance muito grande de que a bebê seja retirada antes do tempo normal e deverá permanecer na UTIN até o momento determinado.
Brunna é muito dedicada aos filhos e ao marido e sempre trabalhou em tempo integral até ficar doente com LUPUS e a doença renal no estágio 4. Ela foi diagnosticada com LUPUS quando tinha 18 anos, mas conseguiu manter a doença sob controle por anos até sua última gravidez com a jovem Rebecca Marie, onde a gravidez tomou seu corpo por um estágio pior e não voltou a ser/funcionar como antes. Até que ela descobriu que estava grávida novamente sem esperar, pois, devido ao fato que estava com um DIU na hora em que a gravidez a levou para onde ela está agora, no hospital lutando com sua saúde em todas as áreas e sua Baby Esther Marie.
Mas estamos tentando chegar hoje a tantos quantos pudermos para ajudar esta linda família. Queremos poder dar a família algum conforto e apoio financeiro, e também dar a ela um pouco de tranquilidade de poder estando ao lado dela no YALE Hospital enquanto ela faz a diálise diária e permitir que ela fique mais presente com seus filhos em casa.
Também queremos ajudá-la a cobrir algumas das contas necessárias para o pagamento das contas, pois apenas o marido Lucas está trabalhando, e também algumas contas médicas que Brunna terá durante sua estadia e internação na UTI para o bebê. O que acontece é que NÃO é tudo o que o seu seguro cobre, muito do tratamento de diálise é um custo muito alto no qual a família não pode pagar neste momento.
Então, estamos pedindo sua ajuda seja qual for o valor para esta família poder passar por esse momento difícil que estão enfrentando. Você estará abençoando uma família que realmente precisa de ajuda neste momento. Não apenas com a sua oração, mas mentalmente, fisicamente, financeiramente, seu apoio ajudará tremendamente.
Nós pedimos que você possa manter Brunna e Baby Esther Marie e sua família em suas orações (independente de sua religião) pedindo a Jesus que elas estejam em casa o quanto e mais saudáveis do que nunca. E que a Brunna possa superar esse processo com a recuperação de sua função renal e oramos para encontrar o doador certo para um novo rim.

On July 11th, of 2019 our dearest friend, Mom, Wife, Daughter Brunna Lima-Gomes was admitted to the hospital to get a blood transfusion. Soon after some tests were done, doctors discovered that her kidney levels were increasing quickly. And doctors decided that she needed to start emergency Hemodialysis. On July 12th, 2019 Brunna, had a surgery to place a port in her neck/chest to do dialysis. With all this happening Brunna is currently pregnant of 24 weeks and still in the hospital receiving treatment and monitoring the baby. She I currently doing dialysis 6 days a week for 4 hours a day. Baby is doing well and growing perfectly. Mom/Brunna is fighting for her life and doing her best to be okay for baby and herself. She will have to remain in the hospital until the time is right to deliver the baby and there is a very high chance the baby will be delivered early and must stay in the NICU until determine time.
Brunna is very dedicated to her kids and her husband and has always worked full time until she got sick with LUPUS and Stage 4 Kidney disease. She was diagnosed with LUPUS when she was 18 years old but has managed to keep the disease under control for years until her last pregnancy with young girl Rebecca Marie, which that pregnancy took her body for a toll for the worst and has not gain much function back. Until she found out she was expecting again not expecting to be expecting again due to the fact she was with an IUD in-placed at the time of discovering her pregnancy. Which the pregnancy has lead her to where she is now in the hospital fighting her and her Baby Esther Marie.
But we are trying to reach out today to as many as we can for help for this lovely family. We want to he0 and family some comfort and support, and also giving her some tranquility of being able to be next to her at YALE Hospital while she goes through daily dialysis and allowing him to more present with their kids at home. We also want to help him cover some of the bills needed to paid or the ones that may be behind. And some the medical bills that Brunna will be have during her stay and the NICU stay for the baby. Not everything her insurance will be covering a lot of the dialysis treatment is out pocket cost for this family and it is not something they can afford at this moment. But we are asking any little bit helps this family to get through this rough time they are facing. You will be blessing a family that really needs help this moment. Not only just with yours prayer, but mentally, physical, financially your support will help tremendously.
We ask that you may keep Brunna and Baby Esther Marie and their family in your prayers that they will be home very soon and healthier than ever. And That Brunna can pull through this process with some recovery of her kidney function and we prayer to find the right donor for a new kidney.
