On behalf of the Woodhaven Bar & Kitchen family...

Last night our dear friend and colleague Christopher Sorken lost all of his belongings in an apartment fire. As if losing everything one owns isn't already tragic enough, the fire also claimed the life of Chris' best friend, his beloved dog Aries. 

Help us help Chris ease the shock of such a sudden and heartbreaking loss by helping him rebuild his life and living situation. As a friend of Chris' you know that this tragic situation couldn't have happened to a less deserving person. Besides being a very good friend, Chris is an incredibly nice and generous person and is always there to help a friend (or even a stranger) in need. 

Any and all financial contributions would be greatly, greatly appreciated. The money raised through this GoFundMe will go towards replacing the clothes, housewares, toiletries and furniture needed to help Chris get back on his feet following his losses. 

Clothing, houseware and toiletry donations will also be collected at Woodhaven Bar and Kitchen located at 712 N. Clark St, Chicago, IL 60654 where Chris is employed as security.

A donation will also be made to the animal organization of Chris' choosing in honor and loving memory of his beloved friend Aries.
