For those who have not been fortunate enough to meet Mark Bednar, he is a 54-year-old who spent much of his adult life as a landscaper while being a loving husband and father of four children. In February 2018, after his abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, he was diagnosed with an aggressive form of gastrointestinal cancer. He has undergone multiple rounds of chemotherapy as well as numerous surgeries to fight back. Sadly, after four years he is losing his battle to cancer because it has metastasized beyond what treatment options can cure. My family and I have greatly appreciated all of the positive encouragement and willingness to comfort us during this difficult time. I have started this GoFundMe because of the abundance of people asking what they can do to help over these last few weeks.
