For our beloved Vinh,

Anyone that has ever met Vinh, you know that he is the most caring, happy, down-to-earth, loving, and selfless individual. He always carried a contagious smile with him everywhere he went. No matter what the situation, setting, or circumstance, he would reach out to you to make sure you're comfortable and having a good time. Vinh has touched so many lives and brought so many different people together.  Everything he ever did was for his friends and family; every time a friend accomplished a milestone, Vinh would pull you aside, hug you and say "proud of you." Whether it was a wedding, acceptance into grad school, or graduation, Vinh was there celebrating with you. If you needed a place to sleep, he would offer you his bed. If you needed a ride, he would offer you his car. If you were cold, he lent you his Seattle Seahawks Jacket.  He never asked for anything in return. 

Although there is nothing we can say or do to bring him back, we can definitely lift the burden of the family by letting them know that he was loved by so many people. Respecting his family's wishes, they will be taking care of all funeral services.  Together, our contribution will go towards a memorial plaque or commemorative bench somewhere in the Bay Area so we can visit him as we wish. The remainder will go towards children and awareness foundations under his name. 

You left us one last lesson Vinh, life is too short to not live it to the fullest. Cherish every moment with your loved ones and reach out to people who need reaching out to because in a blink of an eye, without any warning,  it can all vanish. 

We hope you are finally at peace up there brother. We'll try to stay happy for you, just how you would have wanted it. We'll see you soon
