For Tynisa’s Children

On the morning of August 31st, Tynisa woke up not feeling well and went to the hospital because she thought she was having a stroke. It turns out, she had a brain aneurysm rupture causing a lot of fluid to fill her skull and cause permanent brain damage, they told us she had about 1% chance to survive on her own without machines and even then she would be permanently disabled. She just turned 41 on March 4th of this year.

She brought 4 wonderful children into this world including myself, Eric Hornquist(23), my sister Kaylee Kirklin(16), my brother Michael Kirklin(14), and my youngest sister Regan Kirklin(13). At the age of 30 she married Terry Kirklin, he loved her and spent every day with her for the last 18 years. Tynisa was an amazing individual who’s heart exceeded any and all expectations, she spent years working with disabled children and being an ASL teacher in elementary schools, also when she was younger she worked at a summer camp helping with the disabled children and doing anything she could to be a friend to the kids. Though this is only a small percentage of everything she has done in her life, growing up she instilled in all of her children the importance of understanding and loving others for there differences. She had the biggest heart in the world and there was nothing she loved more then spending everyday trying to help others or do anything that would better her family.

With the sudden, devastating loss of Tynisa Kirklin, beloved daughter, wife and mother, we have still yet to truly process the tragedy we find ourselves in. However, amidst all the chaos we have had many friends and family reach out in hopes of helping. While there is nothing that could ever come close to the light that Tynisa brought into our lives and the strength she instilled in her family and while money isn’t everything it ensures stability and necessities are covered for the family during this time,  we are hoping to ensure her children’s well-being in the future. This money will be going directly toward the kids, it will be put into a bank account for the 3 youngest children.

Thank you everyone for the kind wishes and support. Please be respectful in giving the family time to process and grieve.
