On July 16, 2020 there was a tragic event that happened in Nashville, TN that shocked the city of Madison, Al! The news swirled that we have lost a friend, brother, uncle, cousin, teammate, classmate But most importantly LaSonya and Waide lost a son to an unbelievable event that transpired. Tykeem Franklin was an amazing soul. If you got to experience his presence you would understand the hurt that is within the city. 

Just 2 days before his 24th birthday Tykeem was found murdered in his apartment in Nashville. This was an act of gun violence and his killer is stillfree.
