Supporting TQ's Dreams

Fourteen years ago our family faced a devastating tragedy. A tragedy that Taquarius wears everyday. Our family experienced a house fire where we lost a sibling, daughter, and her name was Shawneece . In this same fire Taquarius was rushed to the hospital with severe burns and we worried another member would be lost. Burns covered over half of his body. Taquarius fought for his life. Over the next several months he continued to battle for his life including enduring commas, invasive medical procedures, multiple surgeries, and skin graphs. His pain was unbearable physically and emotionally; tears were shed by all. 

Taquarius, known as TQ, overcame all the odds and was able to use his fighting spirit for sports and his education. To this day when he sets a goal he lets nothing get in the way of achievement.    

The reason for this Go-Fund Me is to support TQ. We are so excited for TQ because he was accepted at Mesabi Range Community and Technical College! TQ is in need of a reliable car to get to get to college, work, and stay connected to his family and younger siblings; who he remains a role model to. Coming from a big family additional financial support for the significant cost of continued education is limited. This fund is designed to eliminate the barriers for TQ's success at Mesabi.
