For Thomas Droleskey's hernia repair surgeries

Donation protected
Thank you for reading this.

I am Thomas A. Droleskey, Ph.D., a former college professor of political science and, at present, a Catholic writer of articles and books. It is my hope that a few of the many students that I taught between 1974 and 2014 in various colleges and universities around the United States of America who might have favorable recollections of my work will read this appeal and provide a donation at this time.

As one who lives on a meager monthly Social Security payment and however many donations are sent to us in support of my writing, I do not have the means to fund urgently need left-side inguinal hernia and umbilical surgeries at the Surgery Center of Oklahoma in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on Monday, November 8, 2021, the Octave Day of the Feast of All Saints. It is more than enough every month to pay the bills in support of my wife of twenty years and our nineteen and one-half year-old daughter, I simply do not have the means to raise $7000 on my own for the surgery and for the attendant changes that need to be made so that I can perform my farm chores without intefering with the healing process following the surgery.

I had a right-side inguinal hernia surgery repair performed at the Surgery Center of Oklahoma on Monday, November 30, 2015, the Feast of Saint Andrew the Apostle, and it was a very good experience, which is why I am returning there in nineteen days.

I have been putting off the surgeries for a long time now as I have been hesitant to use “crowd-funding” to do so. However, I have no choice currently but to make this request.

Thus, this former professor turned farmer who will be seventy years of age on November 24, 2021, asks those who have the means to donate any amount to provide for the costs of the surgery, transportation, and lodging. As noted above, also structured into the requested amount are expenses that will be incurred for making it possible to perform my part of the farm chores without compromising the post-surgical healing process.

Please know that I will be praying  for--and will  be forever grateful to--those who donate to pay for the surgeries and its related expenses.

Thank you for your consideration, and may God reward you for your charity.

Sincerely yours in Christ the King and His  Most Blessed Mother,

Thomas A. Droleskey, Ph.D.
