Hi, my name is Holly Buck. I’m a 46-year-old educator living in Stonington, Connecticut, and I’m reaching out with love and hope on behalf of my best friend, Theresa DiLieto. Theresa and I have been best friends for over 10 years — she’s more than a friend, she’s family. We’ve shared life’s biggest joys and its toughest moments side by side.

This past year has brought unimaginable challenges for Theresa. In October, she welcomed a beautiful new baby into the world — a moment that should have been filled with nothing but joy. Just a few months later, in January 2025, she lost her father. Her mother had passed away years earlier, and now she is navigating life, motherhood, and grief without either parent.

To make things even harder, Theresa is currently battling thyroid cancer that has spread and now requires extensive and ongoing medical attention. Despite everything, she continues to show incredible strength — but she can’t do it alone.
