For the widow of Ricardo @Richie Reach Tree Serv.

Donation protected

Hi, my name is Ivan @ Forrest Stump Tree Service. It is with a very sad and heavy heart that I publish this GoFundMe.

A few days ago we lost a great tree man Ricardo Rojas in a tragic accident at his jobsite. Ricardo wasn't only a former employee where he started his career as an arborist with us years ago, but he was also a friend. He was one of the best and hardest working employees I've ever had the pleasure to work with in the 17 years I've been in the business, he excelled in every thing he did, Ricardo did whatever you asked of him with a smile, and was very humble as well. He had all the qualities you'd want in someone in the trenches day in and day out in this line of work, he was a STUD.

Ricardo's motto at Richie Reach Tree Service..."Reaching for Excellence" was displayed on all of his jobsites, he took a lot of pride in his work. From proper pruning, spike less pruning, wearing PPE, and so forth was the way he got things done. Ricardo is one of the one's that was raising the bar for our industry. He may not have had all the fancy equipment, but his way of doing business, the relationships he built with his customers, and his finished product spoke for itself.

Ricardo is survived by his wife Mara, they both were very much in love, and as you can imagine she is devastated by this tragedy. For me it's very surreal, I'm still in shock as I write this, I can't even begin to imagine what she's going thru. If you're able, no matter how much, to donate something to help her with the expenses of this unexpected tragedy, as well as it would be an emotional boost for her to see the love and support from the tree service community that Ricardo was very passionate about, it would be a blessing to you and her.

I'd like to give a huge thanks to:

Andy from Carter Tree & Bobcat for bringing your skid steer on Monday.

Tony Raynor from Central Florida Arbor Care for taking a couple of Grapple loads of wood out of there for us once we're done.

Alex from Oversized Crane for donating however many hours we will need for one of the removals.

And to my employees who are working pro bono so that Mara can receive the check from the job, those that are out of town for the long weekend, I'd know you'd be there no questions asked.

Thank you to Scott Flynn, Jose Gonzalez, and many others who I don't know who you are, but I know have reached out to Mike at Vermeer to offer to help to get the job done, wow, thank you so much. That's what it's all about. What a great community that we are a part of.

Thank you in advance for your donation.

God Bless you all.
