As many of you know, our family has experienced another unimaginable tragedy that deeply affects my nieces and nephews. In 2022, my brother, Craig passed away unexpectedly and his four children lost their father. Now, in July 2026, they have suffered the heartbreaking and unexpected loss of their mother, Sheila, as well.

No child should have to endure this kind of loss, especially twice in such a short time. As they begin to navigate life without either parent, they will need the love, support, and generosity of their family, friends, and community.
