For the victims of Huge Earthquake in Turkey

Hi, my name is Dr. Murat Sadic. I am currently working at the University of Washington. My all friends, loved ones and family are currently in Turkey. A great earthquake struck my beautiful hometown and neighboring cities in Turkey. The death toll is rising steadily. The survivors are currently facing extreme conditions such as a lack of water, food, clothing, shoes and electricity and gas in the Cold and Hard Winter of around 5-20 F. People are stuck in cities because highways, bridges and airports are damaged. Local governments are unprepared and inadequate in the face of the scale of the disaster. Therefore, I would like to raise funds for my family there and the affected poor families in the city that I know personally. With your help, I can only send my prayers and financial support to help them while they struggle to overcome the aftermath of this disaster. Please pray and donate as much as you can. Note; I will deliver these funds to the affected people via wire transfer. Some volunteer people are organized and determine the poor families. One of my relatives will buy their needs such as food, water, a tent, and a blanket and distribute them to them. Additionally, I have also connections with local institutions. I will transfer the remaining money to trustable national agency or government there. I will never use this money for myself.

İnsanlar otoyollar, köprüler ve havaalanları hasar gördüğü için şehirlerde mahsur kaldı. Yerel yönetimler afetin ölçeği karşısında hazırlıksız ve yetersiz. Bu nedenle, oradaki ailem ve şehirdeki şahsen tanıdığım etkilenen fakir aileler için fon toplamak istiyorum.
