Our names are Vivian, Spencer, and Tyler Minard. We are writing this on behalf of our mother, Michelle Minard.
Unfortunately, our dear mother was diagnosed in October 2016 with stage 3 ovarian cancer. Michelle underwent extensive treatment and surgery, including a full hysterectomy, and several other small procedures. As one can imagine being given a Cancer diagnosis is a terrifying and overwhelming experience. Since the time we first became aware of her diagnosis, it seems as though it has been an overwhelming snowball effect. Our mother's cancer took a turn for the worse. July 2018 doctors discovered that the chemotherapy was no longer effective. Soon her cancer progressed to stage 4.
We're heartbroken to say she's now in her final days.Michelle has always been a loving and loyal person to her family and friends. She is an amazing daughter, friend, mother, aunt, grandmother, sister, wife, employee, and the list goes on. She is important and loved by many, and we are so grateful to be able to love and support her through this difficult time in her life.
Since she was diagnosed, she faced a lot of challenges only able to work part-time for a short period due to her sickness. She has been in and out of the hospital through the last year and with chemotherapy. Her husband Dana has also missed a great deal of work to be by her side during this time.
In an effort to alleviate stress and the financial burden our family is now faced with, we have created this GoFundMe page on her behalf. Anything you can donate will be useful in helping Michelle and our family with the loss of income, doctors' bills, and upcoming funeral arrangements.
