"for the sake of one we love and are losing"
I borrowed this line from the title of a beautiful book that recently came into my life, a meditative poem and journal by Phyllis Cole-Dai.

This fundraising effort is brought on by the cost of a drug, Fulvestrant, that
is not covered by OHIP. It is an out-of-pocket expense each month. Until now,
we’ve been blessed with help from the local Cancer Care Program and the Lions
Club in Mount Forest, two wonderful groups that help the community. I’ve found
out recently that I will continue on this treatment once a month for as long as
it continues to work. So far, so good.
The next treatment is July 21st, 2020 and continues each month. This monthly injection is an anti-estrogen drug that helps because my cancer is estrogen positive. It is helping to keep the cancer stable for the time being. I have had to stop working for over a year, so to continue with this treatment - I need your help and contributions. This is helping me to continue living.
It is a little over $800 per month. I hope to continue in this way for as long as possible, and appreciate any help you can give, however small. We are so grateful for the caring community that surrounds us. Thank you so much for considering making a donation. Much appreciated!
