Early in the morning of Wednesday, September 18th we learned about the tragic passing of Ricardo Ron and his loved daughter Camila Ron Ruiz as a result of an unexplained fire at their home in San Francisco.
Family, friends, and neighbors are still in shock and mourning this unexpected departure.
Camila was a bright student loved by a close community of friends. She had graduated from the University of Santa Cruz and was a first-year Law student at the University of San Francisco.
Her father, Ricardo was a dedicated activist known for his unwavering dedication to democracy in Venezuela.
On behalf of the Ron family, we are organizing a collection of funds to assist with funeral and legal expenses associated with this tragedy. The funds will be received and administered by Ron's sister, Nakari Ron.
