On January 29, 2019, my family suffered a devastating loss to our long-time home due to an unexpected house fire.  We were renting the home for many years and did not have renters insurance.  We lost almost all of our personal belongings, including family pictures, clothes, furniture, and other personal valuables.  Though my family made it out and we are all blessed to be safe, our little dog Chato passed away as a result of the fire. 

I am asking for your help in raising funds for basic necessities such as clothes, food and a temporary place to stay for me, my Dad (Juan) and Mom (Alica) and my two brothers, Luis, and Jorge to stay.  

There has already been such an outpouring of support, and we so appreciate everyone's willingness to help. We are anticipating the damage is well over $50,000, but at the moment we are only focusing on the basics for the next few months. 

Please donate any amount that you see fit to help my family recover from this sudden disaster.  Immediate donations of clothes, toiletries, and necessities are also welcome at this time.
