For The Mullen Family
Anyone who knows the Mullen family knows the kind of people they are. They are good people. People who are always there and willing to lend a helping hand, even during the times they are walking through their own storm.
Kegan and Rebecca have two young boys and we’re excited to welcome their third child. Another little boy, Micheal Porter Mullen in March of 2021
November 10 Rebecca was rushed to emergency with life threatening complications. She was encouraged to induce. My sister is an incredible mother and refused as she wanted to save her son. She needed to get a second opinion. She risked her own life to give her son the best chance possible. So herself and Kegan made the 6 hour drive to The Denver Children’s Hospital in the middle of the night. They were able to get an appointment the next morning.
Rebecca received an ultrasound and MRI and the results were every parents worst nightmare. Mikey had a very rare condition called “bilateral renal agenesis” meaning he had not developed kidneys. Their sweet boy won’t survive long after birth.
For now, Rebecca will carry Michael for as long as she can.
My hope is to try to take off the burden of finances so they can take the time they need to heal as well as to help with the cost of Mikey’s funeral when the time comes.
Any amount is appreciated. Sharing this with others is also appreciated. Prayers are appreciated.
“For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.”
