Memorial Fund for Theron Allen Wells and Family

Donation protected
My cousin Leah lost her son Theron on February 5th, 2021.
Leah's family and friends would like to come together and support her and her daughter during this difficult time.  Any support you can give would be greatly appreciated.  Theron will be missed.

Words from Theron's Mom...

"If only you knew just how much you would be missed... If only you knew how many hearts were going to be breaking for you right now. For you, for your sisters, for all of us who were fortunate enough to be a part of your life. We are missing you like crazy, Theron.

On February 5th, 2021, my amazing son Theron Allen Wells lost his battle to a broken heart and took his own life. His roommates found him and I was notified that evening after I was home from work. There was a knock on the door and two police officers were standing there when I opened it. One asked if I was Leah, and I said yes. Then he asked if I was Theron's mom, and I replied yes. He took off his hat, and he caught me before I would collapse in the doorway.

They sat with me and listened to me talk about my son and how amazing and talented and funny he was. Gwen was at a friend's house, and I told her after she came home that night. We cried and hugged. She asked some really good questions and asked if she could go for a walk around the school. She loved her brother so much. They talked about the funniest things, and he told her all about the difficulties of being out on your own and how life is, the good and the bad.

Theron had lost his best friend Sam to suicide when he was 15, and was never the same. Theron got his GED that year and sank himself in to every job opportunity he could. He did everything from forestry for Greyback to prep cook at Taprock. He could play any instrument you handed him, and master it in one sitting. He loved being outside and in the wild, pushing himself to survive the weekend with less and less amenities. Just to see if he could. His heart was even bigger than his smile and he would do anything for anyone in need. At 20 years old, he was such a gentleman, he still opened the door for his mom. He was turning into one of the most amazing persons I was ever blessed to know. He can hear us. He has already shown me that he can.

No plans have yet been made, as I am still in shock, I feel. But as soon as there are plans for a service and celebration of life, I will put it here. I am making everything public, so please feel free to share with family and friends so everyone is aware. I am so grateful for the support and love that has been shown over the past few days. I can't tell you how much it means to Gwen and I."
