My father recently passed away after a difficult battle with lung disease. His loss has left an incredible void in our lives, and as we grieve, my older brother and I are doing everything we can to give him a proper farewell.

Our dad was a kind, loving man who cared deeply for everyone around him. No matter how busy life got, he always made time to see his parents and check in on family. Some of my most cherished memories are the summers I spent living with him, growing closer and building our bond. I’ll never forget his homemade burgers — a simple thing, but one that always brought comfort and joy to our family.

Now, as we face the reality of laying him to rest, my brother and I are handling all of the arrangements on our own. I’ll be flying from Los Angeles to Rochester, NY, so we can be together during this difficult time.

We’re asking for help with funeral costs and services. Any amount you can give, big or small, will help ease this burden and ensure our father is honored with the love and dignity he deserves.
