My beloved cat Rumble—my quiet shadow and emotional support through some of the hardest times in my life—was recently rushed to the emergency vet. He had been straining and frozen in pain, and my heart knew something was terribly wrong.

The diagnosis: a severe urinary blockage caused by a buildup of crystals.

He was given pain medication, and we were sent home with prescription food to try to manage the condition. But today, I learned that he urgently needs surgery to clear his urethra and save his life.

Rumble means the world to me. He’s been my companion through heartbreak, healing, and rebuilding a life after deep personal loss.
