My name is Raquel, and I recently lost my father Mr Eddie Blue! My heart is shattered because he wasn’t just my dad, he was truly my friend and one of the coolest souls to ever walk this earth. His amazing singing voice touched so many over the years from him performing with different bands. He could’ve been an original member of The Temptations!

Before he passed, he asked for one thing referring to his homegoing service: “Just make it beautiful.” He didn’t want extravagance—he wanted love, music, and a space where people could gather to celebrate the life he lived and the lives he touched. He was the kind of man who gave without hesitation if he had it.

My family and I want to honor that wish with a heartfelt homegoing service that reflects the dignity, warmth, and spirit of the man he was. But as many of you know, funeral costs can be overwhelming and we are having a difficult time coming up with the funds. I’m humbly asking for support to help cover the expenses of his service, burial, and the small details that will make this farewell as beautiful as he deserves.
