Friends and Family I'm calling on you for some help. This is my beautiful Cousin Megan who is so full of life and joy! A few weeks ago she self discovered a lump in her breast. After a few hasty Doctors appointments it has been determined that she has invasive carcinoma of no special type which is Stage 2.
We ALL know this has been some kind of year and this news has just been so heavy. Of course this diagnoses is so hard to bare and at only 31 Megan has a fight on her hands. With the added complications of being positive for both the HER 2 and estrogen receptor ER part of her plan in survival is to remain as stress free as possible.
Before the diagnosis Megan was loving her work at Milestones Child Development Center in Belmont. She poured into those kids love and light. However, and with much heart break, Megan can no longer be exposed to so many people and kids. Her survival plan is to be getting Chemo and anti HER treatment every 3 weeks until May. Then another round of biopsy and ultra sound to see if this has shrunk or if she is Cancer free! Then the hope is to remove any remaining tumor and finish up with Radiation. The entire course of treatment is a year! All of which time she will not be able to work. Let's lighten her financial burden.
She has exhausted all financial assistance options but with the hope of going back to work with the kids at Milestones and the leave of absence there isn't much assistance available. We are Humbly asking that you give what is placed on your heart to do so. Megan is truly grateful and respectful in knowing this is a hard time for so many and is feeling fully blessed by any and all donations.
