Hi everyone, as most of you already know, our dear friend Lupita is battling Stage 4 Esophageal Cancer.   If you know Lupita, you know she is strong, incredibly fierce and at the same time, the life of the party.  A beautiful mother, daughter, sister and an incredibly wonderful friend to all, Lupita isn’t one to ask for help, in fact it took quite a bit of convincing to get her permission to start this.  

Even though it was a rough go, and she had some very bad reactions to the treatment, she has completed her first rounds of chemo and radiation.  Some of her tumors shrunk but others unfortunately, grew.

In addition to a good rest so her body can recover a bit before the next round, we need to be proactive and do our best to fight this even while not having her 2nd rounds of chemo and radiation.

We found a naturopath doctor, some oxygen baths and I think the most important, a consult with the City of Hope for a second opinion and their recommendation on how to fight this best.  

All of these things mentioned are pretty expensive individually, including the first consultation at the City of Hope.

I am hoping to raise money here not only so that she can do all of these things but also to help offset some of the doctor bills that will start pilling up.

Rather than worrying about money and how to get everything paid, or having to pass up some of the natural healing, we need her to be able to give 100% in her fight. It is so important for her to have a positive mindset without all of the extra pressures.
