Lincoln Rose Everett is 18 months old and full of energy. She loves snuggling with her Mommy and Daddy, and she has the best two big sisters, Madison and Avery, that anyone could ask for. She loves playing with her dog, “Bird.” Lincoln  has the most contagious laugh you have ever heard. She has been bringing joy to the family ever since her arrival! Lincoln was recently diagnosed with a cancerous tumor (Wilms tumor) on her kidney, and will be undergoing surgery for removal of the kidney and tumor within days of diagnosis. The weeks that follow will be full of doctor’s visits and at least 6 weeks of chemotherapy. As you can imagine, this has brought tremendous stress and anxiety to the family. They are worried not only for the health of sweet Lincoln but also for the financial pressures this will bring. (This includes an unpaid leave from work, insurance copays, and the many trips out of town—over 300 miles round trip.)
