For the Love of Liana

Sweet 12 year old Liana Joy Ihde, after a few short weeks of progressive lack of appetite and weakness, has been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML).  Liana is now stable but still in the hospital where she has received multiple blood transfusions, surgery, and will begin treatment. She will be in the hospital for weeks at a time, hopefully with brief breaks at home, throughout this journey. The medical bills will be continual and high. The Ihde’s have to meet their deductible this year and next to begin to see significant help from their insurance. The goal set reflects their very real and present needs.
