Hi, my name is Kobe and I need your help to keep wagging my tail.
I’m a 7-year-old black Lab mix, and I’ve lived a very happy life with the family I love. I get belly rubs, I chase my tail when I’m excited, and I never say no to a treat (or two). I love going for walks, sniffing everything in sight, and sitting next to my humans just to be close. They always tell me I’m a good boy and I try my best to be one every single day.
But recently, something changed. My family noticed I wasn’t walking like I used to, and I was limping more and more. We went to the vet, and after some tests, they gave us the news we never wanted to hear I have cancer. A tumor in my elbow and a small mass in my lungs.
I don’t understand all the big words, but I know my family has been crying a lot. They told me they want to do everything they can to help me fight. There’s a chance I can still live a good life with surgery and treatment but it’s very expensive. That’s why we’re asking for help.
Every dollar, every share, and every kind message means the world to me and my family. We’re not giving up hope, and I’m not ready to stop chasing squirrels or wagging my tail just yet.
If you can help give me a second chance, I promise to keep being the good boy I’ve always been.
With love and gratitude,
Kobe
