Juice Truck -You Got The Juice
Donation protected
Great day everyone, I am Unity James, aka The Juice Queen, a Tulsa-based juicer, vegan/ vegetarian chef, health coach, yoga/ meditation teacher.
As many of you know I currently served fresh cold press juice to Tulsa and surrounding areas. I am raising funding for You Got The Juice, a Juice Truck Co that will serve nutritious juice and food to North Tulsa residents. What was once a thriving black community is now a great food desert and lacking in healthy options such as fresh produce, and nutritious foods. Without the proper education about the body and health, a great number of North Tulsa residents suffer from ailments or diseases. Our purpose at You Got The Juice as a Juice Co is to provide healthy food to the community on a regular basis as well as take part in events and partner with schools and senior residential homes to educate on the positive benefits of taking care of one's body and health.
To end the summer I’m seeking to raise $20000 in the next 90 days to help with the juice truck renovations cost, equipment, start-up labor, and city fees. The remaining funds will be used for staff, repairs, for a projected finish of March 2022.
The You Got The Juice Truck will include fresh juice made from fruits and vegetables, fresh produce, popsicles, vegan and vegetarian food, and other natural remedies and supplies. You Got The Juice is not just a food truck it will provide education, history, the arts, agriculture, commerce, and food to help spread the good news of great health.
As a token of gratitude for your investment in the future of You Got The Juice supporters who contribute $100 or more will receive a self-reflecting shirt that states "I AM LOVE*" from Juice Apparel. Why? Our message is not just about food but the words we speak to ourselves. Wearing an "I AM LOVE*" shirt, the conversation becomes inward, a self-reflection of what you want to see more of. With as much going on in the world today it is important to spread the message of love and self-worth.
This project will not only engage with the community but also build and grow into the fabric of the community already established in North Tulsa for generations to come. You Got The Juice Co will also offer employment opportunities, share a collective wealth, and create a space for people to learn, grow and heal.
You Got The Juice Has helped over 500 Tulsa residents to include myself, who struggled with ailments and disease, begin the journey of changing how they care for themselves and their families. You Got The Juice is a healing legacy I hope to leave for my Tulsa community.
With your support, we can continue to serve you and your loved ones, and so many others. Renovating this truck is a reflection and representation of what it takes to transform one's life through discipline, focus, constancy, hard work, and great support. With the Juice Truck, I intend to bring my dream to full fruition by creating a place that nourishes the community, where neighbors can meet and bond over great Juice, delicious food, and beautiful art.
Thank you, I am very grateful for your time and donation.
Peace and Love,
UJ The Juice Queen
