For The Love of Jaime

I want you to take a moment to visualize something with me. If it feels good, close your eyes, take a deep breath, feel your feet on the ground. Now, I want you to go to the place in your house where you keep all of your pictures (if you have physical pictures...). Open that drawer or box and slowly begin to go through them. What pictures are on top, what do you remember from that day? Spend a moment reliving that time, the connection you have with whoever is in this picture. Can you feel how you felt? Now, I want you to take those pictures and hold them close to your heart. Be so grateful for those people, those moments, feel the love of that connection, and smile.

This fundraiser, or mutual aid giving, is in support of Maia (age 8) and Jaime Fleres (mama), and their two kitties, as they make their journey into healing from toxic mold and the loss of their home and belongings.

Toxic mold is similar to a fire blazing through a home, not much can be carried forward, particularly if you are sensitive and experiencing significant health issues as Jaime's family is.
In light of increasing health symptoms and a persistent intuitive nudge, Jaime began taking steps to get to the bottom of her health symptoms at the beginning of 2021. She was fortunate to garner the support of wise health care practitioners who were able to see the pattern in her symptoms and those of her daughter and even the cats!

They tested for mold in March, finding high levels of several extremely toxic molds in the home where they have been living for the last three years. While having this information is the key to finally getting healthy again, it has meant many things.
Jaime and her girls are suddenly needing to move, in the middle of a pandemically wild housing market and without time for preparation. Further, they cannot bring with them into their new home anything except clothing that can be well washed, and what can go in a dishwasher or bucket of mold cleaning solution.
This means they have to walk away from their book collections, their beds, bedding, pillows, couches, furniture, toys, stuffed animals, keepsakes, art, and so much more. They will have to rebuild again from virtually nothing. Reconnect to your moment with those pictures and just imagine literally throwing them in the trash!

Jaime is a hard-working single mama, operating two businesses, a healing arts business and a book coaching business. She is devoted to supporting others, in helping them heal, remember their true soul path, and express themselves in an embodied creative way in the world.
She is excited that this fundraiser will not only allow her a precious opportunity to receive love back from her community, but also an opportunity to create a ripple of healing into the world that will benefit many many others.
Your donations will go to support Jaime and her girls in rebuilding a clean, safe nest, a place of healing for their family and others (Jaime offers healing sessions from her home, so this space will also hold medicine for all those who come). Your support will help Jaime and Maia get new furniture, replace needed work supplies, bring new books into our world (one of our very favorite things), replace loved stuffed animals, and help this family on their journey to detoxify and heal their bodies from mold illness.
